I love sheep! To be honest, my dad loved sheep and as a kid – me, not so much. But at a very young age I felt the call of God to pastor a congregation. I’m sure God used dad’s love toward his flock of sheep to teach me about the caring and compassionate spirit a pastor needs to lead a church. My wife, Jannette, and I enjoy “smelling like sheep,” doing life together with brothers and sisters in Christ not just Sunday mornings but every time the possibilities allow. Whether a kid’s school function, a birthday party, or simply lunch, Jannette and I love people and spending time with God’s family.

Like all of us, a favorite scripture is a hard question to answer. If you attend livingWORD, you know one scripture special to me is Jeremiah 15:16 – Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts. We need to feast daily on God’s WORD.
