2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
We believe in being “on your sword” for God and his/your church. Generosity has the ability to change lives whether that kindness comes as a tithe and offering, or another form of charity. We joyfully give our first and best in our time, talent, and finances in response to God’s generosity toward us. As part of our weekly service, we do provide our members an opportunity to give back to the Lord a portion of the bountiful blessings God has poured out on us. We view this as another way to thank God for all the great things He has done for us.
If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated or pressured into giving. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them a chance to thank God for all He has done and to give back to the life-changing work of the church.
The General Fund provides necessary resources to accomplish the vision and mission of livingWORD. Opportunities to support local and foreign missionaries as well as those less fortunate through benevolence are avenues to share the love of Christ Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit locally and around the world.
HOW TO GIVE
IN PERSON You can place your gift in the offering plate each Sunday. Envelopes are always provided to fill out for tax purposes. Please make checks payable to livingWORD Assembly of God.
BY MAIL You may also mail your offering to the church office: 1603 Smith Ln, Delavan, WI 53115.
ON-LINE For those who prefer to give online, you can give a one-time gift or set up recurring giving online HERE. Your first on-line gift may take a few extra steps – you’ll need to set up a Tithe.ly account.
